It was founded by Shri Mahalaxmi Bhakta Mandal to serve devotees — first with Mahaprasad on Ashwin Pournima and with simple, dignified lodging — and it continues in that spirit today.
Whether you have come for a single darshan or a family pilgrimage across Kolhapur, you will find a clean room, hot water and a helpful office within a few steps of the temple.
